Strategy Consulting Calls: What Happens
A typical hour: twenty minutes on your current profile, thirty minutes building a timeline, ten minutes on the two or three tasks that matter most before the next session.
Examples: AP Physics vs. AP Economics senior year; framing a gap-year activity; choosing between essay topics; retaking the SAT in August vs. focusing on supplements.
You leave with a written timeline and a clear list of next steps.
Workshop Consulting Calls: What Happens
We open your Common App and work in the document. One hour might cover three 150-character activity descriptions, ordering your honors section, or drafting a "Why This College" supplement.
We also track rec emails, CSS Profile vs. FAFSA requirements by school, and alumni interview prep.
Scheduled workshop time is what keeps seniors from submitting at 11:58 PM on deadline night.
Essay Editing: What You Get
Send a Google Doc. Editors who are Harvard students or Coca-Cola Scholars return comments on what works, what is unclear, and what is missing. We mark weak openings, vague paragraphs, and spots where the draft sounds like a template.
A 650-word personal statement at $0.15/word is $97.50. A 250-word "Why Us" supplement is $37.50. You pay for the words we review.
Available for personal statements, supplements, and scholarship essays.
Transfer Consulting: What's Different
Transfer prompts ask why you are leaving, why this school, and what you will contribute. We identify schools that accept transfers in your major, explain credit policies, and help present your college GPA clearly.
Transfer consulting is $75/hr. Scope is often shorter than a four-year engagement but requires the same attention to deadlines.
